Where Do They Go? Finding refugees in Vorarlberg
(2015)
During my time in Austria, I was presented with the opportunity to explore the current refugee crisis in Europe on a firsthand level. The 30 minute radio production, which was structured, written and mixed entirely by myself and two other international students, showcases the conditions that immigrants from Syria, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Iraq, and many other countries are living in.
The segment required travel through Vorarlberg, Austria and a great deal of research in order to find these refugees throughout the region. This specific radio piece was featured on Radio Proton, a community radio station in Dornbirn, Austria.
